Notices: Continuando a falar sobre levadas, vamos abordar
aqui o que nos Estados Unidos chamam de "mambo
blues", uma certa mistura do blues com os ritmos
latinos. Nesta levada temos um baixo que caminha
pelo intervalos de terças, quintas e sextas, sempre
intercalados com os acordes da levada. É importante
salientar que os intervalos do baixo sempre
acompanham os intervalos do acorde que está
soando. O fato dessa levada de baixo conter a sexta e
não a sétima do acorde é uma característica marcante
do Blues de New Orleans, que enfatiza muito o
intervalo de décima terceira em seus acordes.
Nesta outra levada utilizamos a aproximação
cromática já citada em edições anteriores. Aqui
aplicamos o recurso das notas abafadas pela mão
esquerda, criando um efeito percussivo e rítmico, e
também algumas notas com stacatto, que possuem
duração inferior ao que está escrito, pois as abafamos
com a mão esquerda logo depois de palhetar com a
mão direita. Ter um vocabulário vasto de levadas é
fundamental para quem quer estudar a fundo o blues
